OLD NAVY DISTRIBUTION CENTER Fishkill, NY Old Navy Distribution Center Clayco Construction Co. was the contractor on a 1.5 million square foot distribution facility and warehouse for Gap/Old Navy. This $78 million facility consisted of three buildings constructed on this 200-acre site located in Fishkill, NY. The first segment, the main distribution building consists of a 50,000 square foot, 2-story, office space and a 1.5 million square foot distribution zone. Ultimately, the project will include 2 additional structures; consisting of 300,000 square foot building and 700,000 square foot facility.  Upon completion, over 800,000 cubic yards of rock were blasted, crushed, and moved. In addition 67,000 cubic yards of concrete will have been placed. Included in that is over 650,000 square foot of tilt-up wall panels equaling the largest amount of tilt-up ever utilized for one project. Advance Testing was contracted by Clayco/Old Navy to inspect all cast in place concrete on site, yielding over 2, 500 cylinders tested through our office. [...]

MEDIACOM CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS Blooming Grove, NY Mediacom Corporate Headquarters Mediacom, the fifth largest cable television provider, decided on Blooming Grove, NY to build its new corporate headquarters. The 110,000 square foot facility brought 250 jobs to the Hudson Valley at a construction cost of $35 million. The construction was a relocation of their corporate headquarters as they pursued the construction of a corporate park that reflected the high-tech nature of their business. Over 18-months of construction, Advance Testing provided all required special inspections and materials testing, inclusive of soil compaction testing; bearing capacity inspection; reinforcing steel inspection; concrete field inspection and testing; masonry inspection and testing; steel, bolting and welding inspection; windsor probe testing; and bolt-pull testing. MIRBEAU INN & SPA Rhinebeck, NY Mirbeau Inn & Spa Capitalizing on the scenic beauty and ideal location of New York’s Hudson Valley, the Mirbeau Companies opened the 76,000 SF Mirbeau Inn & Spa in Rhinebeck, NY, in September 2019. PC Construction managed the project, and selected Advance Testing to provide comprehensive special inspection and materials testing services throughout construction, from groundbreaking in March 2018 through the grand opening. The Inn, which is situated on 2.5 acres, has 50 guest rooms, each with its own fireplace, walk-in shower and claw-foot tub. The Inn also features 3,000 SF of meeting rooms, conference space, a Bistro and Wine Bar, as well as a restaurant managed by world-renown chef Charlie Palmer. Mirbeau’s 12,000 SF Spa wing and fitness center has its own entrance, cedar-shingled roof, and 14 treatment rooms, each with a fireplace and sound system. IBM 300MM PROJECT East Fishkill, NY IBM 300MM Project Advance Testing was awarded the site-wide inspection and testing services on this $2.2 billion state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, deemed the largest private sector project in New York State history at the time. The project encompassed the construction of several new buildings, rehabilitation and retrofitting of several existing structures, and the construction and installation of myriad trestle systems to carry various piping throughout the complex. Testing and inspection work includes soil, concrete, structural steel and specialty coating inspections. Drilled caissons were utilized to support the pipe trestle network, requiring extensive inspection, subsurface exploration and confined space entry/monitoring. PROJECT BLACKHAWK/MCKESSON CORPORATION DISTRIBUTION CENTER Hamptonburgh, NY Project Blackhawk/McKesson Corporation Distribution Center Known as Project Blackhawk from its onset, the 340,000,000 square foot warehouse located in Hamptonburgh, NY became a distribution hub for the McKesson Corporation in the Northeast.  Advance Testing was contracted to provide materials testing and special inspection services during the construction of the $58.2 million facility. McKesson’s new Hamptonburgh distribution center supports the long-term distribution network infrastructure strategy for McKesson customers in the Northeast region and provides greater market coverage to the area. The Hamptonburgh location includes state-of-the-art technology and automation to help drive productivity and quality gains in the future.
