The Reconstruction of the World Trade Center Complex

Advance Testing held a specific contract for providing inspection and testing services during the reconstruction of the World Trade Center complex through the Port Authority of NY and NJ. During this time Advance Testing assisted the Port Authority of NY and NJ with inspections on the symbolic 1,776 ft building, both the largest building in New York City and the height designed to symbolize the year of our nation’s declaration of independence. In addition to World Trade Center Tower 1 (Freedom Tower), Advance Testing also worked on the following building in the complex: the WTC Memorial, Vehicle Security Center, and the Transportation Hub PATH Station (the Oculus).

We have held contracts with the Port Authority of NY and NJ since 1996, performing a wide variety of services. These have included, but are not limited to: soil testing, Portland Cement Concrete and bituminous concrete field and plant inspection and testing, masonry inspection, reinforcing steel inspection, precast concrete plant inspection, structural steel and welding inspection, core drilling, pavement smoothness testing, document control support services and various laboratory support services in the Port Authority’s Tech Center facility.
