CATSKILL REGIONAL MEDICAL GROUP URGENT & PRIMARY CARE OFFICE Monticello, NY Catskill Regional Medical Group Urgent & Primary Care Office Catskill Regional Medical Group (CRMG), an affiliate of the Greater Hudson Valley Health System, opened a state-of-the-art 11,500-square-foot facility on nearly 14 acres at the corner of Route 42 and Concord Road in Monticello, NY.  This $10 Million project was constructed to house a new urgent care center and primary care offices, as well as X-ray, ultrasound and CT scan technology, 12 exam rooms and an on-site laboratory.  This new location was the fourth for Catskill Regional Medical Group, which already has offices in Harris, Livingston Manor and Callicoon. CRMG’s Monticello office, allowed for easy access to patients traveling in either direction on Route 17.  Advance Testing provided all required special inspections and materials testing. ANGRY ORCHARD CIDERY Walden, NY Angry Orchard Cidery Angry Orchard, a well-known cider producer, constructed a 15,000 square foot cider-house with a tasting room located in Walden, NY on the site of a 100-year old, 60-acre apple orchard. The project has now become one of the staples of the local community. Their Walden location is the home to innovation and the location where new ciders are on trial before reaching the larger market. The project commenced in 2015 on the path to becoming a 2-story, timber-framed agricultural and industrial cider production plant. Advance Testing was contracted to perform soil compaction testing, bearing capacity inspection, reinforcing steel inspection, concrete testing, welding inspection, and structural steel inspection. RESORTS WORLD CATSKILLS CASINO Thompson, NY Resort World Catskills Casino Advance Testing was contracted by both EPR Properties, the property owner, and Empire Resorts, the casino owner/operator, to provide testing and inspection services over the course of this $1.2 billion entertainment and lifestyle complex. The facility was one of only four sites selected by the New York State Gaming Commission to build and operate a full table gaming casino after a competitive selection process. Initial work on the 1,700-acre site was overseen by EPR Properties, and included installation of new roadways, water and sewer utilities, including a new traffic circle at Exit 106 off of Route 17 and a new 4-lane, 8,000-foot entry road. Construction of the Resorts World Catskills Casino and Hotel was completed in late 2017, which included a below-grade parking garage, an 80,000 square foot casino, a seventeen-story 390-room hotel, as well as conference, meeting room and banquet facilities. THE KARTRITE RESORT & INDOOR WATER PARK Thompson, NY The Kartrite Resort & Indoor Water Park The Kartrite, a 430,000 square foot family resort destination, was constructed on a portion of the 1,600-acre site where the famed Concord Resort was formerly located. The $180 million project features one of New York’s largest indoor waterparks (2 acres); with the resort featuring an 8-story 324 suite luxury hotel; a family entertainment center including an arcade, mini bowling and ropes course; eight restaurants and bars; a spa; and 18,000 square feet of conference space. The waterpark’s column-free construction offers 10 waterslides, pools, and adventures situated underneath an energy efficient, transparent Texlon roofing system that brings the outdoors inside. MATRIX BUSINESS PARK: AMSCAN & AMERISOURCE BERGEN Newburgh, NY Matrix Business Park: AmScan & AmeriSource Bergen Matrix Development Group lead the process to build this 565,000 square foot, $72 million warehouse in Newburgh, NY, a central location for trucking distribution in the Northeastern United States. Approximately half was designed to be occupied by AmerisourceBergen, one of the America’s largest pharmaceutical sourcing and distribution companies; with the other designed for AmScan, the largest designer, manufacturer and distributor of decorated party goods and accessories in the world. The project had an aggressive timetable for construction, with 12-hour days Monday through Friday, 10-hour days on Saturdays and frequent Sundays. Advance Testing was responsible for the testing and inspection of the entire building, along with exterior elements inclusive of sidewalks, curbs and parking lots.
